What is an ISP?

As an ISP (Internet Service Provider), DIFFER manages and maintains our own internet and cable connections, traffic and quality. We do not rely on third-party contractors (like some of the big guys) when you require IT support and when you call DIFFER, you’re always speaking with a DIFFER employee.

Can I use a VPN?

The use of VPNs (virtual private network) has become very popular over the last couple of years and DIFFER supports the use of VPNs for its clients.

Is DIFFER safe?

Yes, using DIFFER is safe.

Do I need a contract?

No, DIFFER is unique in that we don’t hold customers to a contract period. If you don’t like your service, need to move or find a better deal, we’ll be sad to see you go but you’re welcome to.

Is DIFFER a reseller?

No, DIFFER owns all its own fibre and equipment.
